ReplyDeleteAside from the fact that the marionette one scares the bejeezus out of me, these are pretty rad. The owl one is downright Seuss-ian and adorable. The Jelly-Fish King Kong? Hilarious!
If I had one thing to say, it would be that I wish there was MORE of your crazy pattern-y skillz utilized in these pieces. Like if you gave the marionette stylized wood grain lines, or if you had treated the rug and upholstery in the starlet one similar to the nest-dress in the piece that I like to imagine is named 'Contemplation or: Bluebirds Sing Merrily as a Lady Ponders the Life Choices That Got Her Stuck in a Tree While Holding an Umbrella'.
Also, is the starlet supposed to be Annelise?!
